Vision 15-500
Planting 500 Indigenous churches by 2015
Cumaribo Vichada
Ethnic group Guahibos
We had a total of 75 leaders and their "Timothy's" participate in the seminar. God blessed us with an excellent Bible teacher, Dr. Randy Young. We encountered leaders with a real dedication to our Lord, receptive to His Word and active in evangelism and church planting despite their poverty. It was exciting to see the Bible Institute Alumni with clear leadership and vision, giving an example to their own leaders. In this seminar the women of the tribe were also ministered to. In almost all the ethnic groups of Colombia women are despised and mistreated but God also had something special for them at the seminar.
Continuing Crisalinco's Vision 15-500
During this first semester 3 churches were planted. Also, the leaders have committed to plant a church in three other tribes: Salivas, Cuibas, Curripacos. Glory to God! The Guahibo ethnic group has 2,200 communities; there is still so much work to do.

Natives are going hungry in that region because it has been used as a cocaine growing region in the past and still has some areas like that today. These cocaine growing areas affect the normal food crop because people stop growing crops in order to grow cocaine; after some years the food starts to cease. Children are dying of malnutrition so it's not only urgent to reach them with Gods word but also with community development programs like - sustainable farms.
During the seminar we witnessed the death of a two year old girl due to malnutrition. She was placed in a hammock with the light of candles and sourounded by a few friends and relatives. Our brother Guahibos are thirsty for the word of God and with the little they have, they are reaching their tribe (and soon other ethnic groups) for the Glory of our Lord. While evangelism and church planting are moving forward, our prayer is that we can develop the Ganjas project (sustainable farms), so that we can show them how to meet their physical needs as well.
